Miller Noyce Lawyers

Miller Noyce was established in 1924 by Mr Keith Miller and is one of Hornsby’s longest established law firms. We strive to provide professional, personal and practical legal advice and assistance of the highest standard.

The firm has long-standing connections in this locality and continues to act for a great number of families who have and still live in this district. However, just as many of those clients have moved far afield, the firm also acts for people who live and work in more distant places and in fact in many parts of the world.

We realise that people’s needs and circumstances are ever changing and evolving, and despite the pressures of modern life, it is paramount to ensure that we maintain high standards of personal service. The firm has been helping people since 1924 and is determined to continue providing a high level of personalised legal services for many years into the ever changing future.

In 2024, the firm will celebrate 100 years of service.

Mr Keith Miller established the practice KE Miller. He worked as a solicitor in this area until about 1963.

Mr William George Noyce (“Bill”)
acquired the practice from Mr Miller.

Keith Doust joined Bill in the practice at Hornsby and the firm became known as Miller Noyce & Doust.

Mr Douglas Spencer joined the firm.

The firm moved from an old Federation home on the corner of Florence & Hunter Street to offices in the Percy Lum building further down in Florence Street.

The firm moved into the new Westpac building and Doug became a partner at that time.

Mr Joseph Francis joined the firm and became a partner in 1992. By that time the firm was known as Miller Noyce.

Mrs Carol Andary joined the firm and we finally moved into our present offices in “Miller Noyce House” at 45-47 Hunter Street, Hornsby.

Doug and Joe decided to operate their own independent legal practices. Doug retained the name Miller Noyce and most of our staff.

Mr Graham Limburg joined the firm. Graham did this to ensure that his many clients were well looked after and cared for when he finally chose to retire in 2012.

Mr Ken Barnes joined the firm. Ken also did this to ensure his loyal clients were looked after when he decided to retire in 2015.

The firm continues to practice from Hunter Street in Hornsby with Doug and Carol and our loyal staff and clients.

The firm will celebrate 100 years of service.
