Josephine Rose

Josephine has been with Miller Noyce for over 30 years, commencing as a junior clerk just after finishing her secretarial training at Hornsby TAFE in November 1975.

Josephine became the conveyancing secretary for Mr Doug Spencer for many years. She has been the recipient of two Rotary Pride of Workmanship Awards. In 1992 she received the prestigious “Legal Secretary of the Year Award” by the Law Society of NSW. After becoming a “mum” 10 years ago, she returned to the firm and took on the important position of our bookkeeper.

Josephine has been a Justice of the Peace since 1990. She was also a volunteer telephone counsellor and facilitator for a counselling organisation for many years. She is fluent in Lebanese. Currently, when not at work, she is a very busy wife and mother of three young children.

Kathy Wallace

Kathy has been working part-time for Miller Noyce since 1999 for Mr Doug Spencer. She has worked for 24 years as a legal secretary, after completing a secretarial course (and later the Law Society Legal Secretarial course in 1984). She initially worked full-time for a city sole practitioner and then for the Property Partner of a city law firm. During this period she was a shortlisted candidate for the prestigious 1991 Legal Secretary of the Year Award. After her son was born, she returned to the city practice as a part-time paralegal handling retirement village conveyancing transactions.

However, with her family life important to her, she decided to work closer to home and joined Miller Noyce. She has also gained bookkeeping experience while filling in for Josephine whilst she was on maternity leave.

Julie Gilroy

Julie started with Miller Noyce in 1982 and then left in 1986 when her young family came along. She rejoined the firm in 1999 and has been with us ever since. During that time she has handled a wide variety of matters but now assists Doug Spencer with conveyancing and property related matters.

Maureen Boyd

Maureen is one of the “originals” at Miller Noyce commencing in 1967 (secretary to Mr Bill Noyce) for 5 years and returning in 1983 as secretary to Mr Keith Doust (conveyancing). Before returning to Miller Noyce she was secretary to Mr Nelson Meers for 3 years whilst he was Lord Mayor of Sydney.

Maureen is a secretary to Mr Doug Spencer and her specialties are Probate and Estate administration.

Maureen has been a Justice of the Peace for NSW since 1966. Maureen holds a First Aid Certificate and when not working at Miller Noyce, she is playing tennis and spending quality time with family.

Leah Bradshaw

Leah joined Miller Noyce in 1999 and is our receptionist on Thursdays and Fridays and looks after the switch and all initial enquiries. In addition, Leah maintains the security register of all documents held for clients in safe custody.

Julie moved to New South Wales in early 2004 and is originally from Perth Western Australia where she worked for eleven years in the State Government at Department of Housing and Works. During this time as a conveyancer she dealt with a variety of transactions including rental sales, vacant land sales, acquisitions, discharges, refinances, shared equity mortgages and settlements. Julie has also worked in the retail, hospitality and the fitness industry.

Robyn Webb

After completing her secretarial training at Hornsby TAFE in 1969 Robyn held various secretarial positions in numerous industries—mining, shipping, real estate, aged care and legal.

In 1978 Robyn gave up work when the first of her three children came along. She then returned to the workforce in 1993 on a part-time basis. More recently she was employed by Graham Limburg & Co from May 2005 and when Graham incorporated his practice with that of Miller Noyce in Hornsby in early April 2007 she began working at Miller Noyce part-time from May 2007.
